La Flûte Harmonique

Auxiliary Choir (Grades 1-5)

La Flûte Harmonique

In 2008 the LFH Auxiliary Choir to "La Flūte Harmonique" was formed. This choir has been specifically created to enable and encourage less experienced Flautists, over the age of 21 (Grades 1-5), who wish to have the opportunity to benefit and develop their overall playing in a small flute ensemble. The LFH Auxiliary Choir caters for a maximum of 10 members and due to the limited numbers, more one to one support is thus available to address individual problems and concerns, within the relaxed and informal setting of the Flute Studio.

A variety of musical styles ranging from Baroque to Contemporary are included in the repertoire of the LFH Auxiliary Flute Choir. There are no auditions and the group is totally non competitive and friendly. Everyone works at their own pace within a supportive and positive environment. There is an initial trial period of three months to determine mutual suitability.

As members of the LFH Auxiliary Choir grow in confidence, experience and ability, there is the option, should they so wish, to be considered for possible transition to "La Flūte Harmonique"

Members of the LFH Auxiliary Choir are also eligible and welcome to attend the rehearsals of "La Flūte Harmonique" as Observers. Each year the LFH Auxiliary Choir has the opportunity to participate at the Concerts of "La Flute Harmonique."

Rehearsals:

Rehearsals for the LFH Auxiliary Choir are held on the FOURTH MONDAY of each month from 7.00pm until 9.30pm at:

The Flute Studio.
36, Ray Avenue,
Nantwich,
Cheshire CW5 6HJ.

All requests, applications and enquiries will be given due consideration, but please bear in mind that owing to the size of the group there is likely to be a waiting list.

If you are interested in being considered for membership of the LFH Auxiliary Choir and require further details, please enquire via the Membership Administrator on the "Contact" page.
